how the hell can you soak a wiper still attached to the boot in wd40 over night lol
will be hitting this in the morning,
yes rollo its urgent to me as its at the top of a long list i need to sort tomorrow
i am thinking about removing this on my phase 1 172 as i have been told it rubs on the engine cover and will cause the paint to mark.
something i want to double check though is that the heat from the engine won't damage the bonnet in anyway
if it matters i have a super fly lightweight ally...
looking at doing something with this tomorrow so want to know
i have taken off the cover and removed the bolt holding it on but the things seems stuck-fast, anybody know how you go about getting it off?
i want to get the plastic piece that it sits on (under the window) off to paint
don't think you need to worry about cutting it on the mark 1's, think you can remove the fuse as it is for the belt tensioners rather than the airbag's
i got a renewal price of 600 from flux
have searched around a little and so far got £400 from admiral
24, 4 years ncb, fully comp, all mods declared on a 172
Re: someph-ing different...........
my colour is black......lol..
the rim is yellow, not exactly sure on the colour, had the graphics made up and got it matched to that
yer thats what i am on msn chatting to christopher about
what do they actually do in professional set up and what does it alleviate?
should i have problems if i am driving around on them not properly set up?
lol.....
well what i really want to solve is the creaking / knocking noise i am getting, there is a very long thread in the faults section but knowone can pinpoint it...lol
so you reckon i shouldn't have a problem with camber and tyre wear or anything else then
Re: someph-ing different...........
i have now booked friday off work so will be fitting the ducts and finishing the wheel bolts, calipers, possibly paining the engine and fitting the engine cover too. cheers for the comments chris, am glad its going how i planned.
will do mate, will be...
