As for the insurance, I wouldn't suggest misleading them about the wheels personally.

Nice car. i also went from a Vectra to a Clio! :)
The vent surrounds should pop off. They're tight, but carefully pry them off and you should be able to get to the vent.
Oh right, haha! Hello mate!
If it's just a penny washer, say, you can get them online, B&Q, Halfords, etc.
Like here for example: http://www.qvsdirect.com/M10-Penny-Washers-10mm-pr-19175.html
For the Rear shocks?
I did ask Adam, but they only come with the shocks. I'm going to measure mine up though when I take them off to drill them out, and then see about getting some made up for the new dimensions.
(Not sure if it's the same for MK2's, but this will be on a MK3 with AP coilovers...

Yeah, I just simplified it. ;)
To the OP, save your money. Insurance is bad enough as it is. I've waited till now to do any serious modifications to any car, and I'm 29!
Failure to declare, and getting into an accident will quite possibly invalidate the insurance, meaning the driver can then be done for driving without (valid) insurance.
Coolio. Yeah, I saw that too about drilling out the washer. Gonna have to speak nicely to a neighbour I think!
Brisa: I've had mine just under a year now. I'm averaging about 55mpg. That's mostly commuting through main road and town/ villages, 20 mile round trip daily. Then whatever I do at...
This weekend's job!
Out of interest, not done the rear shocks on these Mk3's before. They easy to get out?
Can't believe Renault designed the fronts to sit under a scuttle panel, that needs the wiper blades taking off!
Used to get this when fitting poly bushes to V6 Vectra engines. As the polybush mount is stiffer, you feel more vibration through the car, as the engine doesn't have as much room to "move" under load, like it does on a standard rubber bush.
Get it checked out, but if it's fitted correctly, I'd...
Haha. Won't be going too low dude. Gonna start at 40mm, maybe go 60mm. See how it feels. Quite a few potholes out this way. :(
Also have some silver indicator bulbs, and LEDs for the interior and number plate lights.
Personal preference on the Renault Badge. I'll keep mine chrome, as having the same colour car as Lewis, I think it looks better.
Considering the spoiler Danny is about £190, then that's not a bad price painted and delivered.
That makes sense actually, thinking about it now. All you're doing is replacing the wheel bolt, with a stud. So just get a stud that goes in the same hole, and a nut to keep the wheel in place.
Looking at their (RareRims) tuner nuts, like these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121038973486?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619
Been quoted £1.20 each per stud, and then £27.95 for the set of studs (Comes in a pack of 20, even if I only need 16).
So £47.15 including postage to mainland UK.
So.... My...
