Just get a 16" steel wheel from a scrappy then or try some of the local tyres places , see if they have old ones knocking about , get a cheapo tyre , into the boot and off ya go :)
See if you can borrow one . Or try and get a 16 inch steel wheel from a scrap yard , fit a cheap tyre , sling it in the boot . If you use a 15 inch wheel you'll need a larger profile tyre .
Chances are you won't need it , i've never had to change a wheel at the side of the road so far ( touch...
I think you mean copper grease , put it on the back of the pads , sometimes helps , thats if it is the brakes .
My 182's developed a squeak , only 3000 miles on the clock , i thought it was the pads so i copper greased em but its still doing it .Now i've worked out its the suspension so its...
Yeah , report it as " item not described " . I'm guessing the £15 she charged you for the p+p was more than it actually cost so she made a few quid on the p+p , common practice on ebay .If you go down this route you " might " get back more than the £24 it cost you for the changer , but ebay/...
You could contact ebay/ paypal , explain the problem but tbh you will have to foot the cost of return posting with proof of postage , probably not what you want to hear but ebay / paypal aren't as helpful as they used to be .
That was their resolution for an item i was unhappy about , but i...
4.75 litres without changing the oil filter , 5.1 litres if your change the oil filter . Best checking the dipstick rather than the dash lights for the level .
^^^^ Might not be as silly as it sounds . Like 172.com says check you've got the drives and discs the right way round ;)
If its less than 4.7gb nero for a straight copy , burn it on the fly , always works for me . If its more than 4.7gb clonedvd , shrinks it and burns it all in one , or...
Sounds like it did have a cd changer originally with you having the bracket under the seat . The head units don't cost alot on ebay cd changers come up alot on ebay its the lead that is harder to find , but you could be lucky and the previous owner has left the lead in place because you would...
What decats have you people got , is it a certain make that doesn't get the light on or is it pot luck . I might look at getting one sometime , any pics of the lambda sensor ,tube .....?
^^^^ In other words mate the exhaust isn't covered under the anti corrosion warranty , but if the dealership has the opinion that it has failed prematurely then they will replace it , bearing in mind there are good / helpful dealerships and shall we say some not so helpful dealerships .
If you read the warranty booklet and understand it your a good un , lol .
Under Renaults anti corrosion warranty its says that " Mechanical elements such as alloy wheels and exhausts are NOT covered " by the anti corrosion warranty .
But it sounds like it is up to the discretion of the...
^^^^ Who opens and reads the letters then , a mature student maybe ;) ? If you have a problem the first port of call would be to ring them imo . I've phoned them a few times and they have always been very helpful .
Sorry mate , just stating a fact , i don't work for Haynes , lol . If you compare the sales of the sport models to the normal clios i would say that there is a low % of sport models out there , then you have to take in to consideration that not all sport owners would want to buy a Haynes manual...
Your better off phoning them really . I've used flux for a few years and the online quote is always more than when i speak to somebody on the phone .
Good price though ;)
^^^^ You could try the dealers mate , tell them its seized , they should last a few years you would think , nothing to loose if you go and see them .
Brakes as in pads and discs might not be covered but thats debateable , depends whats wrong with the pads and discs , how many miles , age etc...
They all do it mate . The pads rust onto the disc . New calipers are very expensive , about £120 on and exhange basis , sorry thats for a refurbed one. If it really is sticking it will ne the handbrake mechanism , the adjuster screw can rust inside . Its a bit of a ballache to sort to be honest...
I would have said spark plugs or coolant temp sensor if you didn't have the emissions light on . But i'd still go with the lambda sensor .
If its the coolant temp sensor you temp guage will start to dance about , one min thinking the engines warm the next thinking its cold so over fuelling ...
If its the original battery i would say that its knackered mate . The batteries fitted by Renault are pretty crap , low amps , if you can hold of a multimeter test the battery , it should be reading about 12.5 or 12.6 volts after its been left with the engine off for 10 mins .I think the...
^^^^ What service books this then ? Leads aren't part of the service and the recommended change for the spark plugs on a 2.016v 172 / 182 is 72,000 miles . I think somebodies telling you pork pies mate .
I'd get back in touch with the dealership that recommended that they should be changed ...
