the 1.6 GT has the 6 speed clio 200 box though!
as already said, the DCi is the one to go for, 1.6 VVT is pretty gutless in the twingo never mind the Clio 3!
ive got FK 30mm bolt to hub spacers for the twingo but the wheel bolts need modified to chop them down as they go through the wheel, spacer then touch the hub before tight
a car like that on PCP is proably still going to cost 10k in payments though for the 3yrs, and your restricted in millage, and ideally need to keep it for the full term.
depreciation is an issue on them no matter what route you go, I think its either a case of deal with it, or choose another car
you install the software on your laptop, plug the rs tuner into the computer/car and take a screenshot and send it to henk, he then sends you the best map for your car
Re: Shell Nitro+
I was running it yesterday for the rolling road and expected lower figures than last time since ambient temps were a bit higher and I run 30c above ambient due to my poor intercooler, yet I ran 2bhp and 2lbft more, down to the fuel? who knows.
was running Tesco momentum last time
ha beat me to it there John! cheers
Next up it needs brakes as they have hardly any pads left!!!
looking at Pug 406 Coupe/Mk1 FRS / Fiat coupe turbo brembos + 172 280mm discs
bit of an update, AP rear dampers are rubbish and knock like mad so swapped them for a pair of Apex ones, problem sorted!
Car was on the rollers again, this time made 119.8bhp @ 5000rpm and 146lb/ft @ 3000rpm
had a rusty old engine mount cover decided to give it a paint since I had spare...
you must have only been running a standard car pplus injectors to get only 130bhp?
with mine running FMIC, Decat, Injectors, Filter, Fuel pump there is no reason why it wont be able to achieve high 140's.
There is 160bhp ones running on the standard turbo, turbo will start to max out around...
This.
its not buying new that puts me off, I don't mind the premium you pay and depreciation hit you need to take, its buying new Renaults that bother me purely down to the amount they loose that can be massively reduced by buying else where!
my 3 F4R's (ph1 172, ph2 172 and mk3 200) have never used a drop, they say there is 1L between minimum and max on the dipstick, and my 3 all used half the dip stick between 10k oil changes, so half a litre in 10k miles.
I know the tolerance is 1 litre per 1000 miles but if your anywhere near...
ive been looking at them but I just cant justify the cash for one, be interesting to see what sort of dealer discounts etc are available.
id personally prefer a meg 265 but £31k with the "must have" options for me is comical for a Renault, especially when a nice 250 granted not with the same...
