because Renault spend a considerable amount developing the bushes for the car, and when new the cars drive brilliantly so that's how I wanted it to drive :)
im trying to build the ultimate fast road 172 at the moment, so far ive done...
genuine lower arms (later model with extra castor)
genuine track rods and rod ends
genuine cup dampers all round
genuine top mounts
genuine ARB bushes
genuine fresh engine and exhaust mounts
I also fitted 2 new...
look at the fuel lines in the engine bay whats happening? full of bubbles? you will occasionally see some.
there should be a primer down beside the fuel filter on the opposite side of the battery tray from the battery, pump that a few times then turn it over, might take 10-20 seconds turning...
looks like a good runabout, I prefer small turbo petrols to diesels, I don't do massive miles anyway, I wouldn't pay anything near that for one. im sure when I bought my GT DCi mk3 with every option bar sat nav ticked it cost me just under £15k, this is 5k more expensive!!
my 200 had started to do this very slightly not as bad as yours, i had it from new until it was 10 months old, there was various other paint defects such as runs on the bottom of the passengers wing etc.

had a look around a liquid yellow one in my local dealers, guy came over briefly told me that it has launch control does 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds and they aren't getting a demo in, neither is any of the Arnold clarks in this area, if I want one I need to buy one lol No thanks!
something odd I found today, im looking for a car for my mrs as she passed her test this week, she wants something nice I want something reliable but fun for me to use too occasionally, anyway one of the cars we were looking at was a corsa VXR. done an insurance quote on a 2007 one and it was...
for me 182 manifold with ktec decat link pipe, matched inlets and RS tuner map are all mods ive been most happy with! shame my current clio has none of them yet lol
its a generic map powertune use yes but its not as if these engines are running any sort of custom mods they are all much the same so the generic map was a live map just it was mapped on someone elses car!
joe will do you a economy, performance or 50/50 map what ever you prefer, I went for...
you could always go for eibach prolines which are much the same ride height as standard but with the extra stiffness of the sportlines, not many people use them though as the sportlines offer a nice drop but not enough to cause any issues.
ive just fitted to my 172...
172 cup front dampers
182...
were the wheels straight? if so sounds like possibly the assembly nut on top of the strut that holds the bearing etc in place is loose, should be able to do it I think without removing the strut just remove the top nut under the bonnet and see if you can tighten it, never tried it that way though
