Cup packs are 1. front and rear spoiler 2. slightly lower and stiffer suspension with anthracite wheels instead of the silver wheels .
Most people seem to have both fitted rather than just one .
Your gonna struggle gettin a new one now . I searched all over the UK when i bougt mine new in February , best bet would be to look at car supermarkets on the internet but i think you'll be lucky to find a new one now tbh .
^^^^ Weird one that , if nothing was workin the i could understand that , but not to have the fuel left one not workin , i don't know . I'm guessin that it must be a sensor not working ??
4 lines ?? Did it come up with the " oil ok " message ? What happens when you press the button on the end of the stalk to scroll through the trip computer ?
Cup packs all the way for me , my ff 182 with cup packs handles hell of alot better than my old 172 ff .Some of it might be due to the slightly wider tyres and the tyres themselves , make sure they've got the exaltos on , excellent grip :)
Try and keep the area you wet n dry minimal , obviously if the area to sand is only very small i.e. a small stone chip the surrounding area will be sanded as well . Patience is the key word when layering the paint and sanding .I'd leave it a couple of days after touching up before sanding .
Sounds like its rusted inside . They normally just slide out and are greased inside . Brute for like ya say , then give it a good rub down with some emery cloth and clean up the inside where it slides into then pack with grease .
I used 2000 grit wet n dry , build the paint up with a cocktail stick so its slightly proud then rub it down so its level , let the wet n dry do the work , no need to apply lots of pressure , then megs scratch X to polish it up afterwards .
They do a proper scotchguard protector for carpets . Check this out .

Just ordered a couple of things myself tonight . As Ben says the xxx hardcore wax is really good stuff , dead easy on and even easier off , smells delicious too , so does the shampoo . Don't know if its me but i think cos they smell so good it eases the pain of hours of cleaning , lol ;)
Nope , the car ran fine during the day after i fitted the k+n , only covered about 15 miles but never noticed a difference in how the car ran except obviously from the noise of the new filter . Was running fine right up until the engine cut out as well , no coughin or spluttering or any other...
What difference will it make disconnecting the pipe to the acoustic valve , as i've seen alot of people say just remove the valve and blank of the hose .
Nope , didn't blank off any hoses , just attached the k+n filter onto the original 90 degree bend as i was just seeing how the car ran with the filter on temporarily .
Which vacuum hose do you mean exactly , the one running to the acoustic valve ?
Nope , nothing blocked inside the apollo , i just jubilee clipped it onto the original 90 degree bend , rested the filter on top of the bottom half of the original airbox . Both the original airfeeds were left in place also .
The only thing i can think of is that it was gettin starved of air...
:bump: Nobody else any ideas why it would cause the engine to cut out and not restart ? Its still running ok with the original Renault filter back in place .
Still waiting for a reply from k+n , gonna phone em tomorrow if they don't reply .
Do you mean a strut brace ? Can't see what connection this has with your exhaust .Yes strut braces are available for the 172 / 182 .

If your after the original back box , only Renault sell em , or did when mine dropped off , went to ATS and they had to order it from Renault . They wanted £360
Go for an aftermarket one from stainless cat back , round about £270 fitted , lifetime warranty . You can have one that looks...
As Donnyo says , the warranty is for the car , as is Renault AA assistance , 3 years for both . If you need any info , or to put your mind at rest you can call Renault customers services on :
Tel . 08000 723372
If it was the coil pack surely it would still be fcuked now ? Its running ok now with the renault air box back on .
So if there wasn't enough air getting into the engine because there was no cold air feed, would it still put the same amount of fuel in ? Thats the only thing i can think of ...
^^^^ Why do ya think it could be the crank sensor ? The car was fine until yesterday when i fitted the k+n , its running ok today now the original filters back on .
I was thinking it might have been over fueling and the plugs had got wet ?
I thought maybe somebody else on here had fitted...
