^^^^ mine only lasted 30k on my 172 then needed changing , started to stutter under 2500 revs .

No probs . I used to use comma synergy Z 5w -40 fully synthetic in my 172 , was about £28 for 5litres from my local motor factors .

iirc 172 cups are 38 offset and the 182's are 45

I've got a full fat 182 , same problem , lol. Bought a badly kerbed one off ebay for £36 and refurbed it :)

A couple of capfuls was all i put in , i put in less than the sonax , not quite as many suds as the megs gold class , but was hell of alot slicker imo .

I think its only cups they do fcuk all on , my 172's wore down , and my new 182's are definitely working on the rear from the amount of brake dust i get on the wheels . Don't forget , the rears only have about 4 or 5 mm of pad material from new , just sounds like normal wear to me judging...

If your only changing the front pads and discs , just bleed the fronts , theres really no need to bleed em all , but like i said before , if your fluid is old then whilst your on with the brakes you could bleed all the brakes and renew the fluid . If you want to be pedantic about it the...

I think Renault would have explored every avenue when they were developing the renaultsport engines , things like plugs etc ... NGK - PFR6E-10 fitted as standard , they are supposed to be good for 72k .I'd just stick with the originals .

The cheeky b******s . Hope you get it sorted out ok , claim for everything , throw the book at her due care and attention , whiplash . Thats why i always carry a disposable camera in the glove box , just in case the worse ever happens at least i'll have pics to help with the claim .
