whole idea madhops........i think most where quite safe, there was no stupid overtaking or dangerours manouvers for other motorists, and if there was then i said at the start its only that individuals fault.

yep yesturday morning was brilliant, a very clear run too, and the early light helped massively as did the white mondeo pulling over for everybody..lol
was a very good meet, hope all liked the route....love my playground.
all this rubbish about the bonnet, who gives??? it goes, handles and stops well, i test drove the 197 later today and i am now going to place an order....
my drivers side blower seems to have stopped working, all the others work and i have heat through them, what does anyone think?

as len beech said i think, sort some mesh for the fog hole, loose the cliosport sticker or move it up a few mm as its too low,
then get the mirror base mounts sprayed silver too, other than that it is one very nice car, very nice, again nice to see something other than turini's
looks very nice mate, what type of paint you using, conventional stuff? i take it they are all ok with the temp of the engine
wheels went on today, didn't compound polish them this time and they seem alright lets hope they don't cloud
just done the last coat and thickest of lacquer....will leave that for about 2o mins then put them in sis's room to bake, will then go on the car sunday morning i expect if not tomorrow night

wheels are off, the car is on the one good wheel and the spare at the rear and 2 axle stands at the front, all calipers painted whilst at it
3 wheels are in garage, taped tyres, compound polished to remove everything, then coated in a few coats of paint and will be lacquered in a minute, then...
dan thats what i plan to do with the wheels, i think i did take off the lacquer stage, i will rub them down with 1500 then maybe one coat of colour then the lacquer again.
i can't really leave the lacquer longer than i did before really, all the wheels where left at least a week to cure...

i spoke to a sprayer tonight and he said that when i compound polished them after they cured that i could of removed the lacquer by doing so, so i should go ver them with it again and then re laquer the wheels and not compound polish, that...
i painted some wheels about 2-3 weeks ago, these were painted as they should have been, ie sanded, primered, sanded, painted, lacquered, etc then left to cure for a week before going on the car, they have now been on the car for a week and they seem to almost be clouding slightly, like a white...
