I used to average about 29mpg round town and 38 ish on the motorway in my 172 . Since i've got my new 182 i'm only gettin about 24mpg round town , just gone over the 1000 mile barrier so its still runnin' in , doesn't feel anywhere as loose as my 172 which was on 47k miles .

Your like a f*ckin' walking encyclopedia ,lol ;)
Never known anybody know so much about a car before . Not knockin ya , keep up good work . All your advice is much appreciated by many i'm sure :)
Ever thought of bein' on Mastermind ? Specialist subject " Clios " ;)
So why don't ya use your full beam on your headlights , thats what they are there for ? Or try some better, brighter bulbs .
As to the foglight adjustment question , i don't think ya can , they are fixed .
^^^^ As above ^^^^
It really pisses me off when people use their foglights incorrectly . Always seems to be vectra , saxo and pug 206 drivers mainly .
It can actually carry a fine and points on your licence . I saw a traffic cop with an illuminated display in the back of his car with the...
My first port of call for dvd's , divx etc is http://araditracker.com/
Then mininova , isohunt , piratebay etc ....
I use bit tornado for my client .
For music i use soulseek or mirc and packetnews .
AF were good for me , knocked off £100 straight away off my renewal quote when i played em off against other insurance companies . £499 fully comp protected full no claims .
Some insurance companies claim to be young driver friendly in their adverts just to get you to call i think . 8k...
Gutted for ya mate :(
Society today for ya ! Some jealous little b*stards can't stand to see somebody have something nice so the feel like they should damage it .
What do the police do about criminal damage these days ? JACK s**t !!!!
Just because it can take just under 5 litres , you should stick to the recommended quantity of 4.75 litres .

Do a search on google , you might find an alternative , ebay maybe , or if you have a good local audio/hi fi shop they might be able to make up a lead of some sort . Or Maplins ??
Does exactly what it says on the tin . Clones dvd's , shrinks and burns etc... you have the options to remove menus , subtitles , change audio but not set start / end frames . There is a slightly newer version out now than the one i'm using so i'm not sure if that would be any different . Since...
Ooooooooh temper temper . Maybe if you use your eyes and read the original post before using said fingers and gobbing off with over the top advice . Simplicity is the key word here , as i'm sure a simple soul like yourself can understand :clown:
By the way it's " plain " not " plane " ;)...
^^^ Clonedvd for me everytime ^^^^
Used to use shrink , but i prefer clonedvd a couple of clicks and its done . Personally i think its faster than shrink , but its always good to have a couple of programs rather than relying on one .
If you read the original post you will see the problems...
I think having a clearcoat paint on your car might just save your bacon " when " you eventually get it off , but i wouldn't be surprised if there is some dulling to the paint and and alot of fine scratches . Megs scratch X should sort this out imo .
Get your ass down to the jet wash tonight...
As above , the lime in the cement " could " start to burn the paint ! I'd get my ass down to the local garage jet wash asap , using the soap might help more than just plain water .
Yeah AA Autocentre broke mine , had to buy me a new one . I usually take off the whole engine cover before it goes in for a service so they can't break it . You can buy them separate from Renault .
Renault UK won't have the VIN number on their system if its a " new " european vehicle .
When you buy it new , you should ring Renault UK and supply them with the VIN number so they can put it on their system then you get the 3 year warranty , AA assistance depending when the vehicle came into...
Read the original post you tool :clown: . She wanted advice on putting something over the chip to stop it rusting .
Did i mentioned anything about the dent ?? NO I DIDN'T . Use your eyes before you use your mouth in future .
It sounds like its just a small car parking dent . Lots of PDR...
If its gonna be a while before you have time to repair it, i'd just put a couple of layers of wax over the chip to seal it , keep out the moisture .
If you lacquer it , its gonna create work , removing the lacquer before you can attempt a repair , imo .
No problem . The key is building the paint up slowly , leaving to dry between coats , taking your time with the wet sanding , not to apply too much pressure , let the wet n dry do the work ( i put a tiny amount of fairy liquid in the water ) also make sure you strip off any wax / polish etc...
I had a bad stone chip on the wing mirror , car was only a couple of weeks old :(
Used the touch up paint , wet sanded (2000 grit ) then megs scratch X , 100 % better , if you look closely you can still see a tiny little imperfection .
Gonna give it another go when i get time .
