me and danlp6 tackled it
the battery read 1volt.....lol
halfrauds didn't have the one i needed but got one at a local unipart....£45
aparently it was meant to be £70+
still money i didn't want to spend
we pay £20 for a whole day
thing is though i have competed on this and haynes track which is Fia tarmac or something, that shreads tyres this doesn't
this is fun to drive on and when dry suprisingly grippy
everyone seems to think its the battery so
its not garaged so thats not an option, i have my mechanic on the way oner now anyway so we will go at it then
the car has been stood without starting or being driven for around 2-3 weeks. the battery was totally flat to the point of no central locking etc,
i charged this until i could start the car yesturday, i then went for a drive to blow the cobwebs out, the cars was used 2 other times yesturday...
they do look well cool, think the probablitiy of getting pulled here is high though as my mums a cop....lol
think i may go for plain english plates, keeping it simple
yer.....though so, i will be loosing all rear bits as said so not a problem, bit worried bout insurance though, can't remember what happens with lights etc when the seats come out the front on a mark 1...nothing i think
so what do i need to do?
i will be loosing my back seats and probably all my back belts and buckles, when i insure my car will it be that much of an increase with buckets and will i just say its now 2 seats?
on the look out for some buckets and am slightly torn between the 2 kinds,
i will not be using the rear of my car for anything so thats not an issue, it will not be for serious trackday use although may do a few.
whats people views / opinions on either?
