Yes it will disable the plug leads, i think Phil is talking about the small light green fuse.

Back to the OP, they have been around for many years so it should be fine. But yes alot of these products that company's offer is a bit trail and error.

You do know that you can not remove the cover with out removing the cam belt?
The cam cover also holds the cams in place so to fix the leak would also mean a full cambelt and aux belt kit.
