New pump and filter set up. I even butchered a bit of carbon too. Car started after it was fitted so thats good!

Tow bar is a hidden one. Taking it back off it only a 60 min job. Some 315cc injectors just turned up. They replace the 21 year old 210cc one which have to run at about 120% duty cycle at full throttle! Spray pattern on these should allow a better idle and a bit more torque too.

New fuel filters are here. Pre and post pump ones. It was good to see my car already had a pre pump filter fitted. Most Westfield's never have them fitted and then end up eating fuel pumps.

Yeah my 2nd Westie won the 1600cc class back in 2004. It was running a 205bhp 9400rpm K series at the time. Mental s**t.

Can't you just use the BMT function to model depreciation? It models the front load really well. Then the over factor change can be changed to match any assumed rate.

The main benefit of the K series lump is weight. My full dressed engine and gearbox weighs less than a bare Honda K20 block! Still being full Ali does have its issues as Harv has pointed out. The only original Rover part in my engine is the crank, and even that was machined and balanced!

The aero slows them down a lot though. I can't see it doing over 125mph. Should be quick though. It's geared for 60mph in 1st, so 0-60 will be fast!
