Springs will not quieten the exhaust, that's just being hopeful. I bet its not sitting right somewhere. The backbox goes over the top of the rear beam so its always going to be close to it. £800+ for a standard exhaust?

You can do a backup of your currect ecu and revert back to it if you don't get on with the 98ron map.

Idle is all over the place. The rev counter needle doesn't pick up on the drop and increase of revs bit i can feel it. Its almost to the point where it feels like it should stall but never does. Its done it since I've owned it but I thought it was normal having read the idle is rough on these...

@massivewangers did you sort this? Mine is doing the same thing on idle. Car visibly see the car juddering when at lights etc.

Mine used to idle high and then drop, I was convinced it was mapped but I got the 98ron map anyway and notices a difference straight away. Can you rev past 7k?

In fact. Yours isn't mapped, I just checked the calibration code compared to mine before I mapped it and they are the same. Have you definatley spoken to Henk? Seems strange he doesn't know if its mapped or not.

That hasn't got rstuner on it I don't think. I had that UDIE thing before I used the rstuner map. If Henk doesn't know, then who does?

Cheers lads. @ADS1982 I havnt noticed a difference to be honest. I had to have it sleeved as I had to cut the mid section off to fit the new one as it was all 1 straighthrough system before. I would of rather it bolted on so I can swap and change a decat but I had to make the best of what I had.

Was advised the knocking was a top mount aswell.. They are ktec solid mounts, were on when I purchased the car. Worth a shot at changing them?

Yeah, i guess so. Ive had 3/4 plates on mine for a while and had no issues. I just stick my original plate over the front for mots.

Ive just had mine done, had it sleeved and welded to the cat. No more blowing and sounds 100x better.
