Just purely to track is probably the cup. Cheaper for belts etc and has less to it than the non cups.

so 172 cup shocks for the rear and what about the front? Can I use cup ones there aswell?

@Tomotek what do I need to change to cup dampers then from a standard 172 setup? confused the hell outta me that.

The shocks are prone to going on these so may need a refresh. They are cheap direct from Renault aswell and pretty easy to change. Might be worth a try. If you opt to getthe cup ones then make sure you get the correct bolt spacing for your car as they do differ by a few mm.

I run cooksports with standard 172 shocks. Is harsh on potholes but what do you expect?

I got the one I linked you to first. They told me they hadn't got one in stock when I got there. After I left and got home, they phoned me to say they had found one. You were right, it came with an 18m BNC cable so I had to buy a 12v power supply (£7.99) and a BNC to PHONO converter (£3.50) So...

Where I need to place the camera is literally about 3m from the tv in the bedroom so my plan was to come through the ceiling and to the tv on the wall. Its next to a sort of alcove, so no wiring would be visible (my pet hate) so should be do-able yeah. Might get me this one now as you definitely...

I will get a dvr setup soon for when it goes out the front of the house. For the minute, im putting it in the loft as there is some nesting going on in there so I want to see wtf it is. Hence, when I hear them I can switch the tv on and see what they are up to.
