Lol. I'm taking mine for a bit if a drive after top gear. See if the battery gets any charge into it. Have only potterd about the last few days so cant really say. Getting it checked tomorrow anyway.

not sure on the temp sensors but I do believe 1300rpm isn't a normal idle?

yeah, that's what I plan to do cub. Ads, its a sports cat. Its a Longlife system and its pretty decent but the tailpipe is letting the car down. I would love a prospeed exhaust but Cardiff is looooong to get to.

No probs. engine management light is to do with the cat as its blowing a bit. lights off now, new exhaust system on the list to do. Well, it was anyway but now its moved up the list.

sure @jamesbell you get them from fancyplates. just google it and you will find them.

lol. The guy let me down plugging it in. @jordmk2 offered to plug hes in but i couldn't get there I time to do that. have done the dash diagnostic and it didn't find any faults so will try get it to the garage again today to get it plugged in.

and ira not so clean at the moment, havnt cleaned it since xmas with all this crap weather. Cant get the hose out because it will all freeze over on the footpath where all the oldies slip over and to scared to take it to a car wash to have salty grit jet washed off it from point blank.

was only £20 a run on the first set. was weird though because a 172 went on before me and put out 153ATF. I was more interested in the graph to be honest, nice and smooth all the way through.

haha, yup. ive been on another set and got 168 ATF. A bit more realistic I think :p

sounds good mate. get the belts done by a specialist (£600 ish) and you have got yourself a decent buy there. also have a look into the fastchip 98ron map. Best mod you can do on these for £150ish. Enjoy :)

yeah, just had a read up on here and 99% of the time its the pre cat sensor. did notice my exhaust is a bit blowy the other day.

lol. I just went and turned ignition on to see of it was a random bit its still on now, solid. Will get it plugged in tomorrow.

engine management light has come on today after about a 70 mile round trip. havnt lost any power and all seems normal. Will get it plugged in asap. any common things that triggers it?
