Pressure up the cooling system to 15psi and you will soon know if matrix is leaking. Itll stink of coolant inside the car.

Check for fluid leaks first. If none id assume something might have gone on the master cylinder. Prob try a bleed first.

Basics first has coolant level dropped/need topping up regularly

Whats weather forecast looking like? I have a choice of yoko a048 medium hard compound, cup2's or pilotsport 5. Avoiding taking 2 sets of wheels if poss but dont want to be using the ps5 in the dry..decisions decisions.

Updates Dug out the Compomotive mo6 in rare r26r offset that i had refurbed white last year with new cup2 connects. Quick clean off and a coat of Gtechniq c5 wheel armour. Had a spare hour Sat morning so got them fitted as fancied a change. Also refitted the DS1.11 front pads ready for CSF...

@JonHarro i run ecumaster black on my clio trophy. Works fine including oem dash works well, but no asr or cruise. Cruise would need to be wired differently but i didnt bother, same as asr ive binned it. Abs talks to ecu via can.

Oem cluster works fine with ecumaster black.

I think i would admit defeat and use a better ecu. Ive heard similar about gems. Ecumaster black or maxxecu are both suitable upgrades.

You need can clip ideally mate. Generic might not show up all the df codes. Throttle pedal would be my first go to looking at that, had 2 fail putting it in limp intermittent over the years.

What did you scan it with to read codes? Some are not shown up unless with can clip.

Glow plug fault does not trigger the eml, both of mine have it stored permanently. Only fault that will chuck it into limp in that pic is DF071 which is faulty accelerator pedal.

That is the eml light. You need to scan it with can clip to see what codes are stored as could be several problems

From using various tyre pressure gauges most differ a couple of psi. Same for boost gauges and even some map sensors. QC issues, never going to be totally accurate unless you spend a small fortune on something calibrated.

Lower pressures. Saves using the key to push the valve core in. Been looking for the thumbnail type but not seen any.

You havent said what car it is. Diagnose and fix the issue right just scan it with clip

Agreed, good fitting hose and clip is good for 2bar+ boost pressure so water is nothing. I clean up and reuse the OG spring clamps work fine.

Found the dealer leaflet for compact on ebay so bought it. 500kg payload apparantly :LOL: Not been out for high speed datalogging yet. Ive started to prep it for CSF early. Will be nice to do more than 6 laps this year🤞
