I'm going to have a go at mine this year. Don't know if I'm going to polish the inlets or cheat and send it off to be powdercoated. get the expansion tank off ebay or eurocarparts but make sure its the right one. genuine one from Renault is expensive and lets be honest, its a plastic bottle.

its a 50min journey for me so if I can get through the traffic ok after work I should be there for 6.

looks good. Did you just sand and polish the inlets? No paint? also, change the expansion tank and get some type d coolant to finish the job off :)

just took it out for a spin. As good as new now. Handbrake is a bit stiff but felt proper loose before so its probably normal. nice to be able to pull away smoothly now lol.

driving in the snow with it sticking is not good. The abs, traction control and service light all came on. Is it just a case of caliper off and clean?

right, so as the title really... Sort of. 2 days ago I pulled off the drive as I normally do, drove down the road a bit and felt the car slowing down a lot faster than normal so I thought I hadn't released the handbrake fully, I had. I could smell the burning from the brakes so I turned to go...

The way I can describe mine is that it feels like a magnet pulling it to the side.... My suspension is pretty much new but I do get this quite a lot. When people say how theres is great in the twisties I don't trust mine 100%. Will have to have the ball joints TRE's etc checked more than likely..

wow, that is quite a rev isn't it. I thought you meant just a slight wobble on the needle but that's quite a jump. I'm not sure on the issue but hope you get it sorted.
