Cheers Fred I was hoping you'd see this. Going from ET48 to ET36 might be bit too much I think.

Do 172 Cups run different offset to normal 172s ET43 or am I thinking of the 182 Cup? Know the 172 is ET43 and either 172 Cup or 182 Cup is ET38.

Sorry for another thread about offsets. I'm looking to buy some 15" wheels with an offset of ET36 but I'm worried this might be too much. Is anyone running this much offset on a 172? If so, how much is your car lowered by and do you get any rubbing? Cheers

Lumpy idle is normal and the missing air feed won't cause any problems. I find using super unleaded helps make the idle much smoother.
