Looks fine to me. Flush fluid whilst doing rear calipers if it has not been changed in a while. The rear calipers usually just scrape a pass - as above always been shite same as the r5gtts etc
Light will eventually come back on with decat and stock map but does not usually affect performance. A couple of options really - reset as and when necessary or remap to get rid of it. Who mapped it ?
Agreed probably worth changing full loom. Im on povo spec n1 uch so no cc upgrades either without changing that. Are the looms diesel specific ?
I have a dci 100 intercooler and pipework in stock. Always wondered if i can get a modified dci80/100 map flashed onto my ecu for cheap upgrade. Not...
Most likely sticky pistons in the calipers, rebuild or renew. They do this when not used often, worth leaving in gear handbrake off if not used frequently.
Looks great good progress already. Im going to upgrade the wiring on my dci65 this year as its the same povo spec with no extras. Any plans for the engine ?
Looks in great nick. Hard to find a non white kangoo/kubistar ! Air con and electric windows will be good, if i were to do another one i would find one specced up the same.
Any recommendations for good quality wheel sealant that will help keep my wheels from suffering the pad fallout of doom when using agressive pads. Thanks in advance
If its on a budget just get down the track and run them off, you will have fun regardless. Ive had a couple of great days on budget tyres on track when funds are low.
Edit - just seen that you have used them. Go 15s now
Handling is really good comparable to a good 172 really, very stable and usual lift off oversteer. Just feels like driving a clio - turn in is great no understeer.
From research the kerb weight is 1080kg so maybe a little bit heavier than a 172 ? Seems to pull just as well. When i done Cadwell...
Hi all a few pics of my Kangoo with 172 cup running gear. Bought this last year as a cheap track whip and basically done all the jobs on it to finish it off. Might bring it to the CS festival this year as my Extra turbo is still off the road awaiting a new engine.
Spec is stock 172 engine &...
I have a custom longlife stealth exhaust with rear silencer only and 182 manifold/decat on my kangoo. It sounds louder inside than outside 98/99db at 5k static test, 107db on the limiter. Not had it on track since not sure if its going to be black flag territory or not yet
At a guess its affected the wiring to the boot switch. Its tied into the boot light wiring iirc - no flash when locking as the uch thinks boot is open..is the door open light on the dash all the time with ign on ?
Clutch bite is very low on my 172 engined kangoo approx 25mm off the floor which makes gear selection hard unless clutch pedal is buried into the deck.
Does anybody know how the ratchet mechanism works so can reset it ?? I have tried disconnecting cable at gearbox end - pulling out fully and...
A couple of pics i grabbed. Too busy talking to everybody had having a good crack. Big thanks to Daz for letting me drive his petrol blue 182 on track. I totally get the N/A keep it pinned was awesome fun, 3 wheels everywhere
Possibly wrong shocks fitted. My dci shocks were approx 30mm longer than genuine renault 172cup rear shocks when compared. Springs fell out with dci shocks bit not with cup however slightly loose but not mot fail.
