Yes, done the Renaultsport trackdays at Cadwell and Oulton. I find Vmaxx handle well on track but to be honest I don't know any better as I haven't driven Clios on other coilovers. My car compared to others does respectably though on track certainly not the slowest.
Think you misunderstood what I was saying. I think Raceland, being TUV approved and well reviewed by members, are just as good quality as Ktec/Vmaxx. My point was Ktec are happy to sell Raceland now because they are the same coilovers.
Pics of your Mrs/GF is probably the longest at 10k plus replies.
Clearly apart from the cosmetics Raceland/Ktec/Vmaxx coilovers are the same components (I have Vmaxx). Ktec were trying to protect sales of their own coilovers when they said they wouldn't touch Raceland. You'd hope Ktec wouldn't...
I'd replace the plugs mine looked quite bad after two years. Get NGK PFR6E-10 off ebay and change them yourself it's quite easy to do and better than paying garage rates.
Gives you full access to the site eg Guides section etc and you also get a nice membership pack and member discounts.
I don't think £4k was overpriced from a dealer for a 172. Firstly if it was bought private you wouldn't have had any come back on the sale. Secondly Monaco is the best colour...
Trading Standards, Citizens Advice and the Finance company have said you can return the car so just write the letter! If your not sure what to write give them another call. The Law is on your side so the garage have no option.
You don't need a solicitor they were just trying to scare you off using your statutory rights to return the car. Write the letter and send copies by recorded delivery to the garage and finance company. Also ring the garage to let them know you are returning the car and to expect the letter.
