no it wont, the driver will make the engine work harder by giving it more throttle, at 10% throttle you will get LESS air with a dirty air filter, which in part the ecu will put less fuel in to match the air. the engine wont "work harder" just to suck air in

less air into engine = less fuel = better mpg + less power. wouldnt make that much difference btw!

cant really see it if anything the dirty airfilter will give better mpg lol

as above if wd40 and hitting it square on with a hammer doesnt help then heat it with the blowtorch, get cheap small ones in halfords

erm the diesel if ur worried about fuel consumtpion lol

why would servicing it make the mpg any better?!

i got better mpg from my 172 than i got from my 1.2 16v they are terrible. punt it for a diesel i get 65mpg in mine

lol im going to buy it for the hat!

cant remember off the top of my head but they do idle really low i always think ive stalled it when i get into it because im used to the diesel

my ph2 used to pop flames on gearchanges when going for it and used to shoot flames when you hit the limiter in 5th (and probably other gears)

yawwwn!!! anything will fit if you have enough cash, the easier options are... F4R 2.0 16v K4M 1.6 16v K9K 1.5 DCi (s**t loads of work but it fits lol) R5 GTT engine fits but as mentioned above they are getting a bit old now, if you were doing it ideally you would want to rebuild the full...

id just keep the standard n/a setup and learn to drive it properly ;)

99.9% 58mm but turn the steering to full lock and messure it yourself to double check, there is some odd balls out there lol
