^^^^ this Just had mine done for the 2nd time by them since i have owned the car (had it 10 years !) Mint job cant fault em at TCR been looking after mine since it was 6 months old . NEVER Had a problem with anything they have done for me .

If You get a small squeak on hot starts also as the car fires it could also be the crank pulley thats what mine was .

Parts cost more than half of that ! They have never done a 1*2 cambelt before then if they gave you that price LOL then again if thats what they quoted thats all you should pay there fault not yours , did they do aux belt and all the tensioners too ?

As Said if well maintained and serviced and warmed up they are bullet proof clio cup cars run all std internals so that tells you all you need to know.
