block is fucked. get a different block in there. I have a spare few. It will most likely have cracked because there was no antifreeze in it and the water froze.

the actual block isnt any different other than the no. They have a different oil level sensor, thermostat housing and engine mounts and all the bracketory for the alt etc.

you may find the cable to operate the window from the motor has broken. Pull off the door card and find out.
