You can use tipex yes! White poster paint worked the best when i did it. You have to re apply it quite a lot. Especially if your tyres get a lot of hammer like mine. Pic on my old valver.

With 205's on my 172 i'm getting rubbing on the rear. I was thinking about 10mm spacers all round to sort this and give it a wider look. What dissadvantages would this give me? And before anyone asks my car is lowered 40mm.

I'm 18 and i pay £1600 fully comp but that only becuase i work for a company that spends £100k plus on insurance a year and the insurance broke is very keep to keep our buisiness.

It is. For some reason mine came from the factory with 'the sport' in line with the 'clio'

The simplest of things lol. The letters RENAULT. To go above sport on my MK2 PH2 Clio 172. So far they have ordered me a 1.2 side badge, A extreem side badge and a renault diamond.

My 172 has always been missing the Renault over the 'Sport' lettering. Well i've got a new 7" badge from renault but i want it in the right place. So can someone measure how far it is from the Sport lettering.

LOL my last valver was on 150k when i sold it and it didn't have an easy life. Still though it was even on its original clutch. If you can care for a car and are a good driver any car will last yonks.

Clio is just under 1000kg and the 19 is about 1080kg. So yeah evenish bhp/tonne

Won't be anything in it. 19 is heavier but has less drag and is more stable. Clio will be about 0.1 sec faster to 60.

Thats is a very expensive valver though. Get him to throw in a AUX belt change with the car.

If your car is lowered by 40mm the rears will catch during hard cornering if using standard 172 wheels. If your using turini's you'll be fine.

Not really a spring out job. Just jack it up and twist it into place. Best to get someone who knows what they are doing to do it though.

Not so. My valvers was way out but the tracking was spot on. Sounds like its done what my 172 did. My front right sping had moved from its seat on the shock absorber. Very 'Interesting' handling indeed lol
