    Induction Kit

you will notice a difference in power going from that to a standard airbox with good filter in it, your induction kit will be suffering from heat soak sucking in hot air and loosing power

i always hear plenty people saying theres no difference in the real world between the 2 but ive got to say id have to disagree. obviously we all knows that no 2 cars are the same and all that so driving a 172 and then a 182 is hard to determin the difference, but ive driven MY 172 with both...

buyin a 172 ph2 or 182 anyhting to look out for?

as above they are deffo stuff to look out for. exhausts are terrible too they fall off so most will either have a newish standard one or an aftermarket one (or a fucked standard 1!) my 172 snapped at the centre section at the rear of it, ive saw backboxes fall off too in my time

    Engine conversion...

just as much hastle to put a 1.4 16v as it is to put a 2.0 16v. it will need engine, ecu, uch, keys, decoder ring, then will need ECU coded to the car too afaik possible if you get a full doner car cheap but wudnt bother other wise. 1.2 box will fit yes, as will 1.6 16v (same as DCi65) and...

lowered on the ktr 60mm springs

taking bump stops out wont do anything but f**k your dampers as they act as dust covers to stop dirt n s**t getting in and plus the dampers go lower than they should causing them to bottom out and bursting the seals

Had the car on the rollers today!!

this might be a stupid question but why is MAX power ATW and ATF come in at different RPM?
  30. Martin_172

    Can't remove brake disc

drill out, not really needed anyway the wheel bolts hold them on, when you replace them dont put them in to tight and they wont be so hard to come out next time lol (you can get away with this because of the above reason)
