one thing i noticed too when my girlfriend had a shot of my 172 is that if you stall the lights go off (if their on auto), wonder how long it is before someone stalls at a dark junction and someone comes round the corner and smashes into them because their lights are off!
you get what you pay for but £1600 a bit expensive!
i payed over £500 for rear quarter, drivers door, bump strip smoothed down and painted (got 1 from the scrappies off a dynamique because mine got hit by a brick and the car got keyed)
you got 0ncb or a claim mate? surely shouldnt be anywhere near £3200 for you?!
im only £1100 at the same age (19) with 1yrs ncb, fully comp with admiral
yeah i know what you mean, yours looks spot on though with the badges and silver calipers
re doing my calipers tomorrow, went off the yellow, might go for silver to be boring :p
let me see your different colours guys, mine is an iceberg silver so looking for a few different pics, i think anthracite would be cool but pics never seem to do it justice any decent pictures off iceberg on anthracite
anyone done any mental colour combo's like green or orange?! lol
cheers
ive got the k-tec recessed with decat and 182 manifold, sounds awesome when going for it, real nice sporty tone.
when croozing at 70mph on the motorway you dont hear it though! sounds standard
erm and care to explain why a dynamique would have less roll than an expression?!
it would have been exactly the same apart from the seats holding you better.
i was possitive it could be removed from the top once the inlet manifold was removed but i was wrong lol and it 100% has to come from the bottom.
subframe removal is easy enough
i wouldnt be taking the car past 7250rpm too much to be honest, iirc renaultsport say the engine WILL Fail after prolonged use above that figure.
cant remember if it was the hydrolic lifters or valve springs or something else but there is deffo something that'll fail.
cant see the point in...
if its a k-tec relocated induction kit no chance, mine was well down on power and torque with one fitted.
i cant remember my exact figure but i beleive it was around 86bhp on my old one?
as for keeping up with a 1.6 8v vtr, no chance on a straight.
For anyone interested or if anyone knows anyone interested
