welcome to the forum
forget the superchip and lower it, then once you do some mods to the engine get it remaped to take the mods into account, superchips are pointless on small engines (or so i was told) infact their pointless on most engines without a turbo
turn the lights on then off 3 times and it will beep at you telling you the auto lights are turned on again (dont know how they turned off in the first place!)
i can make my 1.2 16v wheelspin at the start of 2nd when its dry too just not good for mr clutch lol infact ive had my mums 1.2 16v wheelspinning in 3rd when it was wet!
about the de-cats though what about the emissions light does it come on or put the car into limp mode? thinking about...

na seriously it will have a nice roar to it, well worth it just avoid the k-tec relocated kits i praised mine untill i drove a car with the airbox on again and realised how much low down...
my mates taking the airbox to his work to modify it to allow better airflow and he said the free'est (that a word?) flowing filter he can think of is an HKS element so were going to mod one to fit mine.
but the tight is a good idea? is it reliable tho eg does it rip easy?
i got charged £18 a month for "non factory alloy wheels", "air filter/performance induction" and "lowered/uprated suspension"
that was the day i passed at 17
Anyone know what the most free flowing design panel filter is available for the 1.2 16v?
after taking mine a quick spin with the air box back on and no filter in it with the standard cold air feed removed it has much more low down torque than it did with the k-tec relocated kit and its much...
will have no problem i run it on a similar machine although its 2 1.4ghz P3-S chips
but have ran it on a PII 400MHz with 128MB of ram no problem for a mate wasnt fast but done the job and was better than his spyware and virus infested install of 98SE
looking good mate never seen one that colour with 172 bits
any more pics from a distance my mates clios that colour and he likes the front bumper, wants to see some more pics of it.
cheers
not sure if this should be in general chat or technology chat, mods move it to where you think would be best cheers.
me and a mate whos well into cars like me have started a little website as a project with details of all the cars we own, our mates own or cars we have worked on. like i said...
that looks well better than the k-tec one.
also middo why does your engine have 2 holes on the black bit behind the engine cover? mine is like the one in the pic above?
I only got 1,000 miles out a Hankook Ventus K102 but that was my dodgey tracking the other 3 have done about 3,000 miles now and look just as good as the new one

with the FF (full fat, all the toys) 172/182 you get half leather/alacantra interior, full climate control, Xenon headlights ABS, ESP is standard on 182s and...
