    I’m eighteen, with a bullet!

engine restriction idea is good in someways but bad in others, i know i would rather be in a 172 with a 18yr old who knows about cars rather than someone who doesnt have a clue how a car will and can react but just likes to go fast (such as my dad who has been driving for 20 years but doesnt...

First proper(ish) pics of my Cuppy since ive had it and been a member.

get clear side repeaters like said above mate, little tip though get the genuine renault ones, i got ones from K-Tec and they're cheap and nastly and even although they say they are for a clio i needed to mod them with a stanley to fit because they were for a megane. they also let in water...

    1.2 16v engine info

u sure it needs a rebuild? mine is at 120,000 and still fine, i know freds is at about 80,000 and has done loads of track days and is still fine the more miles they do the faster they go!

    16s or 17's

lower it on 16s and they look just right, 17s look to big on them. most 172/182 owners buy the car because of the handling and performance not just beacuse it has fancy bumpers and seats, so why waste it with bigger wheels?

    Ecotex valves

if its a 1.2 16v you have get an induction kit with a k-tec relocation kit, if not get a pannel filter for your standard air box.

    MK2 PH2 Fog Lights

im trying to find out the exact same thing mate. The foglights plug into the car behind the bumper on the passengers side, as far as i know most expressions are wired for foglights so i think all you need to do is fit the actual lights themself, plug them in and change the steeringwheel stalk...

    Dynamique

You do have heated mirrors mate, even the expressions have them, they come on when you put the heated rear window on. The digital dials and new inlet manifold/throttle body came in mid 2004 when the Phase 3 was released (different front bumper, Grill, dials & inlet manifold)
  21. Martin_172

    Mk2 Ph1 or Ph2

Get a Ph1 so you cant use your bodykit.... The 172s get faster the more miles they have on them generally which is somthing to keep in mind, MK1 172 has as edde said the manual throttle body which makes it more responsive only thing i dont like about the MK1 172 is the dashboard. personally...
