On a 2.5 system it will boom. On my 2.25 system it’s raspy when needed. Quiet ish the rest of the time, with unsilenced centre too.

Unless Big pennies it ain’t gonna be much faster. I’d recommend sticking it on the rollers and see if it’s behaving itself.

I have a 2.25 decat and unsilenced Ktec and it’s spot on, very raspy when needed. Not boomy like most 2.5 systems.

I keep looking at Fiesta st’s amongst other cars lol. But instantly when you see the cars they have potential chav written all over them, imo. The 208 being more grown up appeals but can’t help feel it would be second best. At 10k I would get a 250 or a mk6 gti 5dr. Sadly my budget doesn’t make...

Only worth doing (from a financial POV) when the belts get done.

Just makes sure the car is running at its best mate. That’s why it’s important the job gets done well. With them being maxed out so to speak from the factory if the timing is out it can affect performance and general running quite a lot.

Which rolling road and what’s been done to the car? Tbh belt timing is the best mod. Mine is 183/163 Decat, unsilenced centre, fatty induction kit, mapped my efi.
