It should be the same on the ground as up in the air??
Macpherson strut so it should be the same position as it's only the upper spring and wishbone angle that changes
Do I get a prize? I take card??
Glad you got it sorted, it's annoying when you cant find the issue. It may be that your carrier may be full of crap where then pin sits in, if I remember how Honda brakes are setup that is?
Tbh mate most of them last 200 yards, it's the return that delaminate too so they get ruined that way. Then people miss the oil restrictors on the feed?
So much to go wrong on such a simple looking car?
Pretty much on Ford's. They're too tight to put a couple of quid priming bulb in there like Renault do
Yeah I can remember being sat for an hour pumping away? I felt exhausted afterwards, like I'd just ran a marathon on my hands!? Its rewarding when it finally splutters into life though
Sweet man!!
Glad you got it sorted! Yeah Ford's and Vauxhalls I hate working on fuel systems for this reason. I bought the full bleed kit for like £70 because it's a pain everytime you do a fuel filter or a copper fire seal and then you have to spend the rest of the day bleeding it?? The 2.0...

I've never seen a composite shield in the OSF arch, only the ones in the NSR where the exhaust sits on a 172
I hope you like the taste of diesel because you might even have to suck it through??
It will have lost rail pressure that's all, keep going with the priming bulb, it may take a f**king long time though!!
Aye I know mate, I think it's a load of b****cks. They're made from alloy metal, if wheels crack in an oven then it's either way too hot and being operated by a windowlicker or the wheels are absolute horseshite
Try cracking the the bleed screw on top of the fuel filter. If it doesn't start to push fuel out with 10 seconds then you'll need to buy a priming bulb and put it inline with the fuel lines and pump away until your hand cramps?
In short. You're s**t out of luck!
The 1.6 TDCI/HDI engine doesn't have a priming bulb like the 1.4 and 1.8, unless you're stupid lucky and someone has put one on there. You'll need to buy a fuel priming bulb and pump diesel through the system. Sitting their cranking it will only flatten the...
