Why didnt he do that the first time and take pride in what he does
Hate them sort of people, they do half a job and expect people to just be fine with it. If it happens again I'd pick the wheels up and just walk out, take someone with you so you can both carry 2 at the same time so he cant hide...
Tell him you're not paying
Like balls I'd pay for that shower of s**t! He needs his head looking at and if he Carrie's on with all the nonsense then write up a naming and shaming post and see if they have a Facebook page
They'll soon come to realisation that they're in the wrong
I once owned a rep and this s***s all over mine! It looks good quality in terms of bodywork and LY V6 panels are probably rarer than a lass without clap in Bradford!!
Still ain't worth £6500 though, you could genuinely buy 7 half-decent standard 172's for that
Or just over half of a well...
My auntie has one and it's on 100k. She had nothing but trouble in the first few months of owning it, luckily she had warranty so she got a fair few grands worth for nowt?
It's the same with the Megane with oil changes, Renault say every 18k with the M9R... Nah mate, that s**t gets changed...
Is that because it only got 10k miles on it @Davyy ??
I've seen instances where go to BMW, have a new chain kit fitted with new guides and tensioners and then have them fail after only 15k miles! I have no idea how they can design something so shite? They need to have the oil dropped every 6k...
Swap the engine, gearbox, ECU and UCH. My mate put a 1.6 in a 1.2 I sold him after he blew it up? Its only the 2.0 into a non sport which is a bit s**t
Around 400 average but it fluctuates
All depends how many times a week I go to see my mum/grandparents/great grandad as it's a 60 mile round trip. Or if I go elsewhere on my days off to pick stuff up
Aye bushes are only noticable for people that drive cars properly. Most 530d drivers can only go fast in a straight line?
Tbh a full superpro kit isn't vastly expensive considering it's a BMW. I'd definitely get it mapped though, when my mate removed the DPF the other bits before getting it...
The tolerances are stupidly tight that's why, any sort of movement and they chew themselves. Super pro bushes and a good alignment stops it
37mpg is awesome for a proper luxury barge! I drive mine like a c**t off the motorway so it takes a massive hit on mpg. Yeah, 60mph pull they will beat...
Mate has a E60 530D and his does about 40 average he says, mapped by WYT. Cat, DPF and swirl flaps removed and a new turbo. For a 3.0 diesel it's pretty good considering my 2.0 diesel megane does 39 average.
I keep looking into getting a 35d but the one thing that puts me off about BMW is the...
All
All he should have to do is keep tapping the top of the wheel until its where it needs to be then wang it up tight
I blame you for being awkward and buying slotted shocks?
Arb bushes on these dont cause a knock due to them being a tiny bushing.
Check balljoints, top mounts and also check your hubs because the hubs wear elongated. Had it on my 100, I must have gone through 4 sets of balljoints before it was really noticeable
They felt s**t on my 100bhp diesel Clio??
I've been looking into GITI semi-slicks, can get decent sets of them for sub £150. My mates got the GT2RS or whatever they're called, he said they're mint and a lot of people say they're better than 180 compound NS2R
For normal setup I have 15" Rota Slipsteam with PS3 195/50/15
Then a set of Turbines without tyres because I can't decide between AD08R or just some standard NS2R 180 compound because I already have 2 in the garage
Track setup is 15" Team Dynamics 1.2's with NS2R 100 compound
Winter tyres I have...
