I've got my eyes on too much stuff now, plenty of Hilti and paslode bits on there that's wetting my whistle lmao!
Yeah I'll just weld up the old Record No4 nice and thick and get something man sized!
I like the feeling you get when a bearing pops out, it feels better than when you do it in a...
I've currently got my eyes on two number 6's, a 23, 24, two number 25's and a 26 :ROFLMAO:
I know I should never kill off a 6" vice anytime soon, even with me being a massive pikey lol
As per the title what do you all beat down on in frustration?
I have a Record number 4 but I split the fucker straight down the middle of the base pressing out some old bushes, been looking at a Record 24 for an upgrade. Heard good things about Gressel but they're German and don't often get...
It's only a Clio at the end of the day:ROFLMAO: Mine might as well have gone back to the factory and been rebuilt lmao, had this new one 9 months and only driven it 1 mile haha. Hopefully, have it done in a few weeks... He says with confidence :(
I've got a spare 100 turbo. As @Brigsy said, use a 6 point because them 12mm nuts are little b******s.
The return is annoying to get to on the 100 as the turbo is substantially bigger than the 65/80. Still not that much of an arse to do
To all those saying 'blank off the EGR'
It's not that simple on a K9K because its electronically actuated, you have to blank it off at the manifold and it's a pain in the arse to do if you've never done it before. @Austin-182 did you clean out the inlet and the J pipe?
Can't wait to get mine mapped now, will be similar setup to yours, catback unresonated stealth, fatty induction and fresh belts with an RS lower inlet, AC and PAS delete. Hopefully the engine is still healthy
If it makes anywhere near 180 I'll be happy
Air filter, doesn't matter
Oil filter, Purflux is OE
Fuel filter, I tend to ONLY use Delphi which is OE
Pollen Filter, doesn't matter
Cambelts and AUX, stick with a Gates powergrip kit. It's OE and the bearings on the rollers won't just blow up after a year
Well this was an interesting read[emoji23]
I hope you kept the car and fixed it, always a shame to scrap a car for the most trivial of bumps
