Try getting it onto CLIP and see if there are any codes stored. My brothers old 1.2 used to do this but it would leave him stranded for an hour each time it didn't want to start. It was the key not talking to the UCH properly because they key was fubar

My old dCi clio was on 253k, both 172's I have are on 110k and 113k and I've seen plenty of 130k+ Clios that still run better than those on sub 60k miles

The cables look exactly the same as a few other 172's I've pulled apart. The massive bundle of excessive wite under the gearknob, not so sure about the yellow plug. I can check under the dash of my 172 for you if you want?[emoji23]

I'm not a fan of carbon at all and I thi k its tacky as f**k, however, that white dash just doesn't cut it for me[emoji29]

After around 6 months you will, then it'll get so bad you'll need to give the priming bulb a few squirts everytime you try and start it. Why cheap out on something that needs changing every ~50k[emoji23]
You'd be surprised at how many aftermarket K9K filters are utter s**t

My engine and gearbox after a quick scrub with brake cleaner, petrol and a 90p Ikea pot brush
What they look like dry. The front of the block is rusty, the rear was like new after a clean
It is no ordinary CLIO SPORT as it has 225bhp
His uncle mapped it in Barnsley on the road, he said he could just tell it was 225bhp, he didn't need the dyno to prove it
For the sake of £20 you might as well, they always seem to come apart from my experience. Do a job once and do it proper is a good motto to stick by[emoji6]

I just watched this video a few times and then cracked on with it tbh lol
He has a load of other videos for Pugs and Renaults too which I just like to watch lol
If it starts and there's no light on the dash I'd cover it in cling film (not earth sparky tape!) and keep it how it is lol
If you get a fuel filter in future get a Genuine Delphi one as others will only give you headaches??
They probably went into EuroCarWank and bought the cheapest filter for that Reg and just stuck it on not realising what it's for? I thought only the MK3 and Modus/Megane had the sensor on the filter. @HMS Derv Destroyer you seen this before on a MK2?
They're not on every model but I'm sure it just clips into the fuel filter underneath, I'm sure they detect water in the filter too. At least that's what I'm led to believe, I never had mine flag up for water in the filter I just drained it after every 6k service and primed it back up haha
