Took the Trophy down to the guys at Birchdown Autos for a few bits yesterday.
Awesome service as usual from the guys.
New rear discs & pads sorted.
Central ASBO exhaust section swapped
New heater panel fitted.
Makes such a big difference to the interior
Also treated her to a set of...
I’m thinking about getting mine refurbished by Cornering Force.
Have emailed them for a price so will see what they come back with.

Car is booked in with Birchdown for a few bits next week.
Rear discs & pads
Swap central exhaust section for resonated pipe.
Swap heater control panel. (Was going to do it myself but heard it’s a right ballache)
Also thinking about upgrading the rear bench seat to standard 182 rear seats...
I’ve got a new heater panel for mine.
Getting it done by garage whilst it’s in for a few other bits.
Looks like a right ball ache [emoji23]

Steering wheel looks great! I want something similar but without the number at the bottom.
Got a snappy wheel on the V6 & it is excellent quality.

Not too sure to be honest. Came with the car when I bought it.
Just done a quick search on eBay & found this one

Seems that there has been a few of us who have jumped on the Trophy bandwagon recently!
I picked up #151 just after Christmas.
Only spent limited time with mine but can already see what all the fuss is about.
Awesome little cars [emoji1303]

As others have said don’t do it!
U could pick up a high mileage trophy for 5k but I wouldn’t consider it to be that much of an upgrade.
In other news I will definitely be nicking this idea.

Discovered my interior light wasn’t working today.
Bit of a faff getting it apart but managed it in the end.
Off to Halfords for a bulb in the morning.

I have no idea [emoji23]
Assume because it’s been garaged most of its life & previous owner had reflective foam mat on windscreen to block out the sun.
Even the one on my V6 was very melted in comparison to this one.

Some more goodies arrived today.
Milltek resonated central section, with it being a daily I thought I’d have something a little less antisocial [emoji23]
Will probably sell non res section if anyone is interested, only done about 3k miles.

Think it’s the right time to get one before the prices go too silly.
Trophy will be more of a daily driver so V6 will be used for weekend fun / shows.

Spent about 3k on servicing & gen maintenance for the V6 over the last 5 years / 5k miles.
Front end needs some tlc so will be in for paint at some point before summer.
Planning on spending around £500 on the trophy to get it exactly where I want it.
Hopefully I’ll be able to sell it for...
Turns out my current milltek exhaust is non resonated version & is abit loud for my liking.
I have bought a resonated central section to fit at some point in the near future.
God I must be getting old [emoji23][emoji23]

Just keep it as standard as possible & enjoy.
Currently has a milltek exhaust which is on the loud side, sounds nice but might switch it back to OEM because I’m an old fart!

So after a few months of looking at everything from a 2k Saab to a 20k 996 C4S I ended up jumping on the Trophy bandwagon.
Picked it up yesterday morning & headed back up North, rude not to have a quick stop off at Caffeine & Machine on the way back.
Got a few bits & pieces with the car so...
