3 bottles of MTL is enough for the jc5 mate.
If you have a diff, or you do long stints then the MT90 is a better choice because of the heat range it works in.
GL5 is too slippery for the synchros, and whilst it doesn’t kill them instantly, it does take its toll on them.
MTL and MT90 is a GL4...
I’ve already confirmed it with him mate via text 👍🏻
So what you’re describing is the normal operation of the plated diff. If the driveshaft was bottoming out, trust me, you’d know! It feels as though the front of the car is about to fall off. 😂
Right ok, well the driveshaft can bottom out in the drive cup mate when you’ve got a gripper diff installed.
Put it on full lock and drive forward - if it feels like it’s trying to pull the steering wheel out of your hand, it’s bottoming out in the drive cup. Only way to stop that from...
If it’s coming through the solenoid and entering the plug, then it’s got potential that it can damage the ecu. It’ll act like a capillary and the oil will eventually end up at the ecu.
Saw you on Saturday afternoon heading down the A51. Cliosport sticker in the back window and the car was being trailered. Tow car was a Land Rover.
Tidy looking inferno tbh!
There is no price currently as it’s one of the areas that we need to discuss in detail. What I do know is that I’d need 5 people interested to make it viable.
Right, now things are starting to get more back to normal after covid, this dog box kit could well be back in the offings.
I’ve spoken to a machine shop that’s happy to do the machining - they’re UK based and extremely good at what they do. They also have experience in this area, so that will...
That noise is the same one they all make when you rotate one wheel back and forth.
It could have got some wear internally within the diff though if it’s particularly loud.
You sir, are a legend! I shall drop you a pm later on with the details in. I have a picture of the original circuit board so you can see what’s what as well. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Anyone on here handy with PCB’s? I have a board that sends out a PWM signal to imitate a RC receiver. But the signal I need it to put out as well is a PPM signal.
I’ve looked online for PWM to PPM converters, but the ones available aren’t really suitable. Ideally I would like to...
The hardwork is getting an ecu to run the cam sensor that’s on the 197/200 in a 1*2. The ability to run the full vvt is the reason why it’s worth doing.
Drilling and tapping a hole for the tensioner is very easy.
