Its really hard/impossible without an impact wwrench. I tried all sorts, various swan neck spanners, allen key in the top bit to no avail. I tapped with a hammer, then tried a blow torch but gave up and went to a local garage who had an impact air gun and had it off in 10 seconds.

Ive got the standard dogbone mount but have a powerflexed one in a box somewhere that I think is missing one of the 2 washers thats needed. I think andy replaces the dogbone as part of the package....will have to check though.

Im having my car stage 3 turbo'd in the next week and need to upgrade my standard engine mounts. What I need help with is picking some. Ideally I dont want vibrations going through the car if at all possible. Any suggestions?

Has the nut that holds the top of the rear shocks loosened - you know the one in the boot under the black cone cover things.

True true... the bad thing about them is they are like magnets for picking up stones, I was constantly having to stop and use a key to pry stones out of the tyre to stop the tick tick tick tick when driving.

Ive had several sets of both of these tyres and they are pretty similar in terms of performance. I would say I prefer the Goodyear F1 GSD3's to both the asymetrics 2's and PS3's but they are discontinued I think.
