Put a colour version up too but it's personal preference. If the colour in the sky is good then the colour version can often look better. I'm more of a monochrome man though.

Got these with my 6d, 105mm f4 and 10 stop ND. Heavily cropped (sent images to phone and edited in Snapseed) I'll have a proper look on the laptop tonight.

You'll need a fairly good zoom and a strong ND filter if you want to get anything half decent. I'm working but I'm going to have a try with my 105 and then stop ND but I will have to crop the hell out of it if I manage to get it.

That looks a good spot for long exposure photography. I probably would have got the ND filter for your kit lens though as it will offer you a bit more of a range for landscapes etc. Which filter did you get?
