Well i've been putting mine back in straight away for years, my car's still running with no problems.

I just put mine back in straight away, the air getting sucked through it will do a pretty good job of pulling the oil deep into the thing.

I had a blast with one on one the A444 in Cov, we came off a roundabout and I thought 'no problem see ya', then his turbo spooled up like the Fast and the Furious and he f*cked off into the distance making me look a right c*nt. lol They can be bloody quick if modded properly.

7 years, I do lust after other cars, but the only way i'd drive something else is if I could afford to run the Clio aswel, it's just too much fun to ever get rid of.

A front end refresh is the best thing you can do to these, sorts out any handling issues you might have, have you ploy bushed the dogbone and got/considered uprated engine mounts?

It's had it's belts and dephaser done mate, as long as it's been done by someone that knows these engines then it'll be good for another 50k miles or 5 years, mileage is irrelevant on these engines as long as they've been looked after and serviced regularly. Those mods won't be making big...
