Well tried this last night, not too bad for my first attempt I think, although next time I will make sure I am not going to be in the path of the moon :(
Only taken in back garden but I will get out somewhere interesting next time, just need to remember the black frame and an interesting...
I really hope that this is better than Revelations. I'm quite bored of that now, finished the missions quite quick, the Desmond sequences were pretty poor IMO and it just felt rushed. I really hope that they have had another team working on this for the last couple of years.
Either way, I'll...
Following a leaked imageof Assassin's Creed III's main character, Ubisoft unveiled the box art for the game earlier today. While the image doesn't seem to reveal much at first glance, it actually provides a great deal of information about Assassin's Creed III's setting and main character...
Yeah I will start from tomorrow shooting in RAW. I used to but it was such a PITA before I had Lightroom, I had a free converter but was really slow, kept crashing and had little editing ability from what I remember!
I'm going to try to not use auto ISO from now on. It was at 55mm (on a 55-250), set in aperture priority at F8. Plus I was on a moving boat (if that matters)
Right, sorry to hijack this thread. I remember a while back someone made their own rig for timelapse so the camera moved slowly across a rail. Would anyone know who did it? Or better still, what thread it was in?
Cheers.
Right, not very good with post to be honest. Wanted to make this pop a bit more but it seems I get a lot of grain in my pics.

Canon 550 - Upgraded from a 30 last month, I was also getting grainy shots with that too so I am thinking it might be the lens? EF-S Canon 55-250 4-5.6 Is II
Cheers :) I've noticed a few have been really grainy recently. Must be the ISO bumping up (I had it set on auto ISO).
Was shot at F8 - 1/100th - 800ISO and tweaked a bit in Lightroom.
Some of those pictures are superb! The Puffin portrait especially!
Looks like you have some great places down South Wales. I should really look at getting down there once I have finished exploring up here.
This is something I was thinking about. Its not very sharp but its quite hard to keep still whilst the boats moving up and down.
You will probably find similar on anchors, moorings etc at low water in a harbor, if you can get to them.

Cheers Bully & Brazo for the comments.
Brazo - i prefer the second bee shot, looks sharper (on phone at moment)
Scott - that sunrise is lovely, really like the colours.
Adele - LOL at the face in the second picture!
That's right! A 41 mp camera on a phone! Also Dolby 5.1.
Spotted this was trending on Twitter.

Internals look pretty poor in relation to the newer smart phones (I think) - 1.3Ghz processor running 512 Ram on...
Well, we have had a bit of snow in North Wales, but I had no car at the time and when I got my car back the snow had bloody melted!
Anyway, this was taken yesterday, its landscape and it is still winter.

Took this yesterday whilst walking in Snowdonia. Had a ND8 on (cheap-ish Hoya one), f22, 1/4 sec, ISO 200 and hand held.
Converted to B&W in lightroom as the colours were a bit dull and couldn't make them 'pop' like I wanted.

I signed up to this last year but didn't really do much with it.
I have added a few recently and need to go through my old files to get my best shots on there.

It might be worth looking at muscle/barnacle growth if you are anywhere near the sea/docks.
I see a lot of growth on wind turbines. Also on the mooring ropes, boats, anchor chains etc.
