I just put the rubber end of a claw hammer in the piston and smashed f*ck out of it with a silicon hammer,
didn't budge a single mm, I think it's safe to say it seized.
Well I just undid the brake fluid cap, put the old pad over the piston,
whacked f*ck out of it with a silicon hammer and it didn't budge a mm,
looks like i'll have to put the death trap pads back in and go back down Halfords tomorrow to buy a G-clamp.
Do I definitely need a G-clamp to get the piston back in the caliper because I don't have one,
is there any other way of doing it, like putting the old brake pad on it and hitting it with a hammer?
I think you must have miss heard him,
the ARB is just a metal bar and some rubber bushes that's bolted to the subframe with brackets,
there's nothing to leak out.
I destroyed my Brembo pads in the first session,
they went from a high bite point to the pedal being on the floor within 15 minutes.
I just drove all the way home without touching the brakes until I was in Coventry city centre,
the pedal does nothing now. lol
So in short Brembo pads suck balls.
Yes i'd say you'd need an upgrade, my old map had 6400 at the beginning,
the newer ones i've been using for a couple of years have 6500 at the beginning.
Someone in a Cup obviously destroyed him at a traffic light GP,
so now he want's one so he can be the man.
Well until someone in a Focus ST lines up next to him,
then he'll want to swap his Cup for a Focus that's worth 5 times the money.
So is this thread about what mods would you like that haven't been invented yet?
Surely everything you can do to a car performance wise already exists?
Going over to the states and doing the Hot Rod power tour in a Vauxhall Viva van,
made him a legend in my book, i'd love to meet him he's cool as f*ck.
The traders section alone is worth the money,
not only can you buy new parts cheaper than almost anywhere else,
but you have access to countless professional garages around the country.
One of the worse things about owning a car is having to find a decent garage that won't rip you off
or f*ck...
If he's not responding to your emails then he's probably on holiday or something,
every time i've emailed him he's responded within a week and i've been using his products for years.
I'm afraid it's email or nothing with him.
