I had this on mine, it's a f*cking nightmare tbh.
They're held in place by a round nut that's welded to the chassis, when the weld breaks the round nut just spins,
I had to go to a garage and put it on a lift to get enough access, it still took two large blokes with a breaker bar
and some...
Last time I saw one was in the late 80s, someone had one in the next street to where I grew up,
I would have thought these would go for more than £2k in this condition...
I looked at these when I first got my Clio, as I missed the armrest I had in my Golf,
as far as I can tell, there's nowhere to mount it despite it saying it's a direct fit.
I like it, it's different but it's alright, debadged rear looks really good,
I wish I could be arsed to fill the two holes the 'Clio' badge leaves on mine.
What happens when it rains though, does your airbox fill up with water?
I got sorted out with the price too, should have been £1200,
belts, dephaser, alternator plus new alt bracket, water pump, HT leads, coil pack, injectors and finally.......sump gasket.
Needed it though, otherwise it was going to die.
I'll never get rid of the dog kennel, it's like another pet to me,
plus i've put a lot of money into it over the years so to get my moneys worth I need to keep it for life.
That's Adam from Wolverhampton, he likes it because it annoys everyone which is fair enough in my book. :approve:
(He's not on the site any more)
Fair play to everyone showing up in that weather.
I do like a good Pikey fix. :approve:
I have so many squeaks and rattles I don't even notice them any more,
partly because i've got use to them, but mostly because I drown it out with the Stereo.
Nothing wrong with your car Spinksy, especially since you ditched the green bits.
How big is the IC, will it stick out a bit?
(What engine is it again? I've forgotten) :o
The only thing i'd change on that Ph3 bumper is the two vertical lines that separates the 3 bump strips,
wouldn't be too hard to smooth those two bits.
Well you know as well as I do Raz, that bumper's going to explode when you release the tension on that thing,
you also know how I feel about RS bumpers on non RS Clios. :nono:
So with that in mind i've put together a small selection of Ph2 bumpers for your consideration.
