I use 33 on the front and 31 on the back, but 30 on the back's fine. I thought my car was broken when I got new tyres, took a while for them to grip properly, it's normal.

RSTuner remap would sort out that low down power, it's also the cheapest way to remap a Clio, 1*2s have nothing until 5k rpm.
