My 172 made 151 at the wheels at the RR day I went to with the West Mids lot, taking into account a 15% or so loss through the drive train, my flywheel power only worked out 173bhp, or is my maths sh*t? Mine's got, V6 box, matched inlets, Piper exhaust, Fastchip remap. How have they worked...

My list is slowly getting shorter, although I need two new tyres again so that's another thing to add to it.

You'll need both the upper engine and upper gearbox mount, if you just buy one then all the stress will be transferred to the other one.

I've been seeing this thing on the road for the last year in it's camo/optical illusion wrap. The A46 from Cov to Stratford was a test route for it, so almost every week i'd see it on the road, even with the wrap I thought it looked gash, now I can see it in all it's glory I know I was right...

Went to work and back in it. Absolutely hooned it about and realised that what I thought was instant power really wasn't, the new solid engine and gearbox mounts DCIRaz and me fitted are amazing. Hit the throttle and it now feels like you're getting fired out of a cannon, minimal drive train...

What bullets were they to begin with? I'll be making myself a custom set soon, but i'm not sure which ones would be best to sand flat. Oh and they look really good.

I take you or Dan have had a good look at the wishbones, ball joints, tie rods & track rod ends? My guess would be wheel balancing, maybe you've lost a weight of one of the fronts?

Makes perfect sense mate, i'm a portrait studio photographer by trade, but i've never used them outdoors, they're good results for a single exposure. Bracketing the exposure ftw. :approve: How much tweaking in photoshop did you have to do?

So how are you balancing the lights with the daylight to get an even exposure? Are you using a light meter and checking ambient daylight, then metering the flashes and getting them within the same aperture give or take a stop or two either way? Or are you taking multiple images and exposing...

Yep it'll have a cold map that will limit the revs until warm, also even when warm it'll have a 6800 limit in 1st & maybe 2nd, then 3rd 4th & 5th will be 7600 or 7800 I can't remember tbh. Also your engine wont last long if you're booting it when it's stone cold. :nono:

Discovery +1? The only thing I don't like about this new series is adverts every 15mins instead off 30mins. :dapprove: Might series link it in future so I can fast forward them.

I'd say it's more then likely using a Fastchip map if it idles at 1100rpm from cold, they really help the engine run smoother on startup and get rid of alot of the lumpiness the engines usually have with OEM maps, not to mention smoothing out the power and torque curve so it has a bit more grunt...
