I've been wondering this since I first heard about the new rules. No-one seems to know if an aftermarket steering wheel will pass, not to mention bucket seats, as the standard seats in mine have curtain airbags. I have no clue if it's worth buying an aftermarket steering wheel or seats.

I've had prolines on mine for years, great springs. I think they'll sit a bit lower once they settle in, as mine's lower than yours.

If it was my car i'd drop in a new engine, but i've had mine 5 years and i'm quite attached to it. You're going to spend £750 of your own money whatever you do, probably cheaper to drop in a new engine rather than getting another car though.

Definitely tell them, even the slightest bump would invalidate your insurance, then it'll be impossible to get insured in the future. I'd ring them and ask how much coilovers would increase your insurance, tbqh with you the aftermarket backbox and Lexus light actually count as modifications...
