Also the volume of people on UK roads makes accidents and car crime alot more of a likelyhood in general. Oh....and America loves the car, whereas were made to feel guity every time we turn the f*cking key!

Oh to be rich and have a huge garage. Also don't American insurance companies insure the driver and not the car, which means you can own as many as you like?

I love the whole American hotrod scene, f*cking amazing. Although completely impractical for this country and i'm paranoid enough about the clio getting scratched or dented, i'd be a neurotic mess taking that thing out. Also nice classical version of a Metelica song.

I was thinking more about breakers yards TBH, I was in one yesterday looking for ph2 clio parts, they diddn't have any but had a few old megs, scenics and an old laguna. Just wondered if it worth going back.

Forgot to mention, specifically the front diamond for a ph2

What vehicles Renault diamonds will fit a mk2 clio? On ebay there sold saying Clio, Espace, Scenic, Megane, Laguna, is this right? If so what years will fit a mk2?

Just need a question answered. How do people with aftermarket steering wheels pass MOTs? I thought you needed a working horn and all the ones i've seen fitted to peoples cars don't have one?

You can get brand new rear light clusters from Euro Car Parts for £30.49 each, there not made by renault but there pretty much identical. I needed a new one last December for my MOT although it was £25, so the ba*tards have put the price up.

Sounds like a plan, you can't really go wrong with black leather and a few red trim highlites, imagine how p1ssed off you'd be if you retrimed it in red and diddn't like it.

I'd say red, but it has to match the colour of red you've already got otherwise it won't look right.

Fair enough.... i'm just a bit envious that you've got a black & gold while i've got a boring old iceburg, although when I refurb my 172 wheels i'm doing them the same colour as yours, so I must thank you for that as i'd almost given up on finding a shade of grey I liked.:cool:

I think the yellow looks fine mate, although I think you should do something with the side bullets, maybe spray them black or the same grey as your wheels and highlite the numbers in yellow. Would finish off the theme you've got going. Although if it was mine it would be all black, wheels...

You can post pics a number of ways, when your writing a post you can hit the insert image icon and upload them from your hard drive or photobucket or whatever online album your useing. What I tend to do is open them in photobucket and just copy & paste them directly into the post i'm writing...

I've just moved mine away from the intake hole, jammed it up by the battery so it doesn't get in the way of the air coming in through the grill. I do plan on removing the acoustic valve just aint got round to it yet.

Cheers for that, thats pretty intensive but i'm guessing it's the only way of doing it. My wheels are gonna need professional refurbing as the rims are not in good shape, so I don't think re-spraying them is an option for me at the moment. Thanks anyway for the link.
