Mine does it all the time no-matter how much I fiddle with
the brake pedal switch.
Heres a list of the possable faults that cause those lights to come on.
Brake pedal switch,
Brake fluid level,
ABS sensors,
ABS rings.
That what I have found by doing a search on the forum over the last...
Right mate cheers for that. i'll check the abs sensors,
also the last MOT I had the said that the CV gaitor was
insecurley mounted so maybe it has something to do with
that.
If my car was a woman ive have dumped her a*se
months ago!!
Right then, Ive tried dabbing the brakes on a hill both
in gear and in neutral nothing happened.
In not entirely sure how to adust the brake pedal switch,
I know in has a rachet/plunger, and ive pressed it in
then reatached it, nothing happened and ive pulled
it out and reatached it still...
I'll try it mate, but ive been driving it for a month or two already,
would this not calibrate it, or is normal diving conditions not
the best for this to work?
I know were all sick of hearing about this problem,
but it still remains!
Ive read so many threads about it and still have no clue
what the problem is, this is such a common fault
I cant believe no-one has a definative answer.
Ive had a diognostic check, it said brake pedal switch.
That...
Sorry for the really late reply, Im a photographer and have had
shoots every day, this is the first day i've been near a computer,
i'm actually at work now. (The life of a freelance)
I drive a 52 plate Iceburg silver 172ff thats usually dirty,
my office is in Enterprise house just down the...
Iv'e seen it a few times and posted it on here but no reply,
I'm guessing their not on here.
It has both cup packs so its not just a mums run around.
You would think that someone with such a nice
car would have researched it first,
thats how I found the forum.
Just walked past it on my way to the subway, parked in the
car park of the Stag & Pheasent on Lockhurst Lane, Foelshill.
Ive also seen it parked in the car park of Enterprise house
where I work.
Very Nice.
So am I right in thinking that those of you that dont like it
also dislike the way the clio cup racer looks?
Its the same spoiler.
(I think its down to the way I took the photo, I guess bad photography
makes cars look worse than they are)
Thats what we said when we went to pick it up and saw it
for the first time.
Thing is its a proper cup spoiler from the Renault range,
personally I think it might be the way I shot it, 28mm wide angle lens
it can distort the picture slightly, I really needed to be further away
when I took the...
Sadly this isn't my car its my mates, hes not on here because he
doesn't own a computer, so I thought I would put it on the site, he just had it sprayed and fitted today.
Finishes the car off IMO, just diddn't look right before.
We were wondering if anyone else has had a cup spoiler fitted...
Cheers for all the replys and for not biteing my head off.
Dont get me wrong I never said I wasnt going to declare my mods,
I was just curious about where it all stood legally.
Why do we have to declare mods?
Lets say worse case scenario, you write your car off and
your insurance company keeps the car in order to process your claim,
how are they going to know its been modified?
Obviously IKs, ITBs, body kits, non renault alloys are going to be noticed, but what...
That is the next thing he wants to do.
Hes used to realy quick cars.
He liked his tuned 182 cup as much as a Subaru RB5
he owned.
Gives you an idea of how quick his 182 was!
Whats an IMG?
If its anything to do with computer speak I aint got a clue!
Im a bit new to all this forum lark, this is the first one
ive ever joined. (I like my car that much)
