They don't list a mount for the 2.0 16v in their catalogue but its the same mount as the non RS - the 1.2 uses a slightly different design but the rest use the same as the 2.0 16v, the same twisted design as you posted above.

as above for the fuses and checking the relays - id pop a crank sensor on it for all they cost just to rule it out given how common they are too!

my faulty rear ABS sensor causes it to come in under 5mph when slowing on the brakes to a junction etc - doesn't bring on the ABS light but when you check the live data you see the reading dropping out under 5mph - so the car just thinks its locking up rather than a fault.

that's the correct part for a 172/182 - so assuming its genuine then that's a Febi!

As above, battery probably been flat or is going flat. Common on these, mine was in its third battery when it was sold on at 18mnths old

Engines are bomb proof I wouldn't pay over the odds for a low miles one. And I would definitely try and get a higher miles facelift 17 palte on from memory as it's a better car. My Mrs previous one done 160k in 3 years from new, remapped from day 1, rear ended twice, ran into the back of a bus...

got a video of the noise when setting off? as above check the gearbox oil level and have the clutch checked.

@SSN11 used Lemforder track rod ends at my recommendation and I'm sure one failed within about 6 months, came from Euro.

Cheap for a 182 these days so I'd say your money is safe and if your handy enough all east stuff to fix, improve and add to the value. My priority would be the fuel cap and have that taken care of before it gets worse. Also get the rear door cards off and see how it is behind them and address...

To be honest it's actually quite nice! Feels much the same as a normal 172 in terms of driving comfort, it's probably a bit less supportive given your more likely to slide about when driven in anger but I've not really driven this hard as I've got my 182 van for that!

Latest update on it! The car came with an invoice from when the previous owner "recommissioned" it as it had been off the road for about 10 years, this included a Battery, full service, fuel drained and replaced, timing belt change, MOT, etc etc - Not much change from a grand but the Aux belt...

Running sweet as a nut now, been putting miles on it and really really enjoying it!

I'm sure they run 0.5bar from factory which sounds like where you are when it settles. They do have an over boost function, from the press release..
