Hi hammer over that amount of time the pulley will be shot. Possibly a lack of power too. Its not that big a job. Dephaser and cambelt kit etc. How can you remap something with a lack of power.

Dephaser pulley yeah they rattle. can be any age or mileage

i would say there is another problem dephaser generally is when warm. does this sound all the time. possible tappets sticking/loss of oil
