i was 6 hour round trip to get to RS Tuning, the drive back was awesome.
I would put my mortgage on the local company not being able to do a proper job at mapping it.
mine held boost no problem and only started dropping off approaching 6000rpm, Paul @ RSTuning said it was a nightmare to perfect it when he done the first few but now hes got it sorted.
a 140bhp Twingo GT would be bang on the money - at standard weight of 980kg - obviously more to be saved with stripping out and more to be added with a cage (I don't know all the ins and outs of the class)
Clio Chassis, 172/182 torque and your 150bhp per tonne target
awesome wee engines, 182 injectors, downpipe and loads of boost!!!
id get all the stickers etc off it though, standard rear lights on it, set of coilovers and spacers if required
is the facelift RS getting the BOSE option? we were looking to replace my mrs mk4 dci90 with a facelift DCI110 with BOSE but shes just been told shes moving closer to home so now interested in a 220 trophy (previously doing 40k a year)
rstuner transforms them Imo, my current black 182 is standard and it feels dead mid range compared to my trophy, I prefer to save the hastle and just buy the rs tuner brand new and then sell on after I've done for £100. It will also let u read all your fault codes though, handy piece of equipment!
I'm a massive fan of OE dampers and Eibachs (never tried the cooksports), I had B14's a few years back and they were fantastic but a bit overkill on the road, yet some say they are a bit soft for track work, but I see they are now about half the price they used to be so I might try a set on the 182!
