buy the cheapest one you can find, being digital an HDMI cable will either work or not work, not like a scart cable for example where different cables gave different quality picture.
personally id say while the clio is the better car dynamically I think the 182 would feel like a downgrade, id be looking at a 200 if you fancy a swap to a clio, least you still get the 182 thrills with an even better chassis, better brakes and still have that modern feel
they are holding money but hardly an investment, I thought mine was fairly priced when I got it a couple of years ago for £5k, standard with 50k miles. ive since spent 2x services, brakes, 2x tyres and its now due a belt change so there goes a grand-£1500, and ive done probably 5k in it, if that...
not worth spending any more than a remap. Ive used Superchips Bluefin on my last 3, good gains, reliable, do it yourself with the touch of a button. 106's shift when you change the mapping on them and unleash the extra torque, especially about town! as with tuned diesels though they always feel...
R27 wasted my love for the Trophy too. ive since shifted the R27 on as I couldn't be arsed with the cost of them every time they need something doing but imo they feel just as special to drive as the trophy.
I'm considering selling mine on too, i fancy building something like an F4RT mk2 or mk3...
my DynS DCi90 is absolutely perfect apart from one area, its too slow! 220trophy would be perfect lol I couldn't bring myself to fork out the extra £10k for one when both had delivery miles!!!
i miss they days. I was at Crail a few months back and it was all boys in brand new golf R/S3's etc running 11s or better on road tyres, full interior because they threw a wedge of cash at it, turn up, engage launch control, car launches its self, changes gear its self, get time and brag about...
depends on what you look for in a car, I loved the mk4 clio was a nice step up over the mk3 in refinement, build quality, 5 doors was ideal but after using my mrs one a few times the stereo/medianav was just a deal breaker for me, Renault now offer a FOCAL upgrade for it that adds an amplifier...
its worth weighing up your options, a £3k saving is obviously fantastic but for me the extra money for the media nav evo alone was worth it, it was my one requirement as the medianav system is truly that bad!! I thought the sound quality in my 182 trophy was poor but jesus ive never heard...
precisely as above, ive got a 14 plate and a 66 plate one, both 1.5 DCi. If possible its really worth looking for a 66 (possibly a 16 too) as they get MediaNav evolution over media nav and its night and day, both in the responsiveness of the screen, DAB as standard, much better sound quality...
+1 for greenlight
they insure my trophy and mirror my 10yrs ncb from my daily driver, the only insurance company I know that do it, and its a fully comp policy not some sort of limited use one, although I do only have 3000 miles on the policy and they asked for a pic of the millage to confirm...
